No animal species is spared from cruelty and exploitation in today’s society.

The AJF was founded to achieve a kind, sustainable, healthy, and productive society that values all animals as sentient beings regardless of their species, to live free from pain, fear, and exploitation – starting here in Australia.

The AJF Board of Directors is a team of dedicated volunteers, so all donations are maximised for the animals. We provide a perpetual source of funding for charitable organisations and thought-leading activists through the promotion of philanthropy, invested donations, distributing income earned, and giving grants to support grass-roots initiatives.

Our funding pool is acquired through donations from individuals, corporations, bequests and investment funds.Help create change.

Together we can build a more innovative, inclusive, kind and sustainable future.

Ways to give

The AJF exists to build power through finance,
and over the very long term.

Only by combining your donations with that of others in the movement, and investing it long term, will we be able to accumulate a significant fund with investment returns that can then be used to future-proof animal protection. If you want your donation to fund immediate initiatives to support animals there are rescue groups, shelters, activist organisations and political parties who will do exactly that.

Our pledgees

On behalf of all animals, a heart-felt thank you to our generous donors.

While I’ve always been an animal person, I wasn’t aware of the extent and severity of animal suffering from human actions. It's not just companion animals and wildlife but all sentient beings. I want to stop animal exploitation, and this is why I donate to the AJF. I know that improving animal welfare is a marathon and not a sprint. Giving to the AJF is a way to continuously give back and help the fight against animal abuse. This money will grow forever and provide an important role in activism, in changing public perception and in protecting animals. (Photo - Pepper, 2021)
